How We Raise Funds

PAC raises funds throughout the year to provide support for key programs and to respond to grant requests from teachers for essential equipment and supplies.

Annual Campaign

PAC’s Annual Campaign is held during the months of October and November. It is a 4-6 week campaign focused on motivating parents to donate money to PAC for its many important programs (i.e., the Computer Lab, teacher grants, and class room equipment). This is one of PAC’s biggest fundraisers. Click here for more information.

Family Fiesta

The Fiesta is a big school carnival held on the first Friday in June. There is a silent auction, games for kids, food, music and more. Local businesses and Fremont families donate items for the silent auction and each classroom makes an item for the auction as well. PAC asks Fremont families to sponsor the game and food booths by donating money. Donors receive recognition at the Fiesta for their sponsorship. About $20,000 – $25,000 is raised during the Fiesta, making it another of PAC’s big fundraisers. Preparations for the Fiesta begin in February and many volunteers are needed to make it a successful event. CLICK HERE for more details about the Family Fiesta

An Occasion For Adults - 3rd annual event, January 27th, 2012.

In 2009 PAC began hosting a grown up night out, featuring a chance for parents to meet one another socially while supporting the school through an Opportunity Drawing and a Live Auction with high value items . . . just in time for the holidays! Click here for more information

See's Candy

PAC sells See’s Candies before Christmas and Easter. Order forms and brochures are sent home. Parents fill out the order form and return it to the school. The candy is then distributed to classrooms for students to bring home. PAC receives a percentage of the proceeds from the sales.

Dine Out Nights and More

Each month a different restaurant or venue hosts Fremont families. Families are asked to make a purchase at the local venue and PAC receives a percentage (usually 10%-20%) of the proceeds for the day or evening. An example of local businesses hosting Dine-Out Nite and More events includes New Moon Restaurant, Black Cow, Star Café, California Pizza Kitchen, Cold Stone Creamery, Color Me Mine, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, and many more - Click Here for more details including a calendar of Dine Out and More events.

Coins For Kids

This event usually takes place during the entire month of February. Kids are asked to bring spare change to school for PAC. The coins are collected and used to fund PAC programs. The school is decorated with paper coins and posters as a reminder. See details in the “Dateline” in February.

eScrip

This is a computer-based program. Fremont parents fill out a form to have their Von’s cards and other department store cards registered by PAC. Then, a percentage of the purchases made using those cards is given to PAC.  Click here for details and sign-up links

Movie Night

A movie appropriate for kids will be shown in the school auditorium. Parents and children are invited to attend. PAC sells tickets to the event as well as food (popcorn, hot dogs, and some treats). Children can come to see the movie in their pajamas, bring a blanket, and watch the movie while laying on the floor. This is a fun family experience.
